About Sine Tools
Sine Tools is an independent software project. Our free Windrose calculators help players add up crafting materials, account for items they already own, and copy a gathering checklist. No account is needed and calculations run on your device.
Windrose calculators
- Crafting calculator: pickaxes, workbench upgrades and crafting stations.
- Smelting calculator: copper and Foothills iron ingots, ore and charcoal.
- Base setup planner: station presets and materials for a new or second base.
What the recipes cover
The current starter catalogue includes Stone, Copper and Iron Pickaxes, a Workbench, a Sawhorse, a Smelting Furnace, and a Charcoal Kiln. It can include missing crafting stations, expands copper and Foothills iron ingots into ore and charcoal, then subtracts your inventory before showing what remains to gather.
For example, one Copper Pickaxe and one Sawhorse require 15 Copper Ingots and 25 Wood. If you already have two ingots and eight wood, the remaining checklist is 52 Copper Ore, 13 Charcoal and 17 Wood.
Sources and limitations
Starter recipes were checked against Windrose DB, which publishes extracted game data. The source tracks v0.10.0.8.10-dd411cfd from July 7, 2026. We checked the pickaxes, workbench upgrades, and refining station costs on October 18, 2026. Each crafting step links to its recipe source.
The source snapshot may differ from a newer game build. Charcoal is counted as fuel; charcoal production, ships, and later progression are not expanded. If you already have a crafting station, enter it in your inventory before enabling station costs.
Contact and help shape the tool
Use the feedback form on the calculator to report a wrong recipe, request an item, report a bug, or contact the project. We review notes to decide what to build next. The form does not collect an email address or provide a reply channel.
