How to use the Windrose crafting calculator
Choose the quantities you want to craft, then enter materials and finished items you already own. The calculator combines shared ingredients, expands copper and Foothills iron ingots into ore and charcoal, and shows what is left to gather. Enable missing station costs if you still need to build a workbench or furnace.
How much does a Copper Pickaxe cost?
One Copper Pickaxe needs 5 Copper Ingots and 5 Wood at a level 1 Workbench. Starting with no ingots, that means 20 Copper Ore, 5 Charcoal and 5 Wood. Add 5 more Wood if you also need to build the Workbench.
What do I need for an Iron Pickaxe?
One Iron Pickaxe needs 5 Foothills Iron Ingots and 5 Wood at a level 2 Workbench. The ingots require 15 Foothills Iron Ore and 5 Charcoal. A nearby Sawhorse upgrades the Workbench to level 2; its materials are separate unless you include missing stations.
Have the materials but can’t craft?
If you bought a blueprint, use it from the Curios section of your inventory to learn it. Owning the plan is different from learning the recipe. Some recipes also need progression unlocks. Check the station level and Bonfire placement; inventory totals do not check your game save or accessible storage.
